Rogowski Coils with Integrator

A Rogowski Coil is an excellent solution where a traditional current clamp is too difficult to fit. The large flexible coil makes this current clamp an effective energy measurement solution when your budget is limited. A simple current clamp installed on a single phase of a compressor can still show you how much energy your compressed air system uses and what opportunities may be available. The coil is shielded against the influence of external magnetic fields and is suitable for high power load analysis, impulsive current monitoring and DC ripple measurements.

The inline integrator amplifies and converts the coil’s output to a 4-20mA or Modbus (RS485) standard signal for simple connection to your PLC or display.

Temporary or permanent installation

Current clamps are often favoured in temporary measurement surveys due to their simplicity to install and remove even when the compressor is running. This reduces the impact of energy surveys on a site’s operation. Rogowski coils can be fastened by cable ties for permanent installs.
